Sammy Watkins Kids Jersey . -- All talk and no major changes didnt make this a dull NHL general managers meeting. Authentic Preston Brown Jersey . "I was ready to play the biggest game of my career," Backstrom said Sunday following the game. "And two-and-a-half hours before the game, I got pulled aside." Backstrom paused, choked with emotion and appeared to be on the verge of tears. CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Ryan Ludwick hit a line drive that carried into the seats in left field for his first homer since last October. The next time up, he hit the ball as hard as he can, right at the shortstop. Maybe his swing is starting to come around. Ludwick hit the most noteworthy of Cincinnatis four homers on Saturday night during a 6-3 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers that left their cleanup hitter with a better feeling. "Amazing," Ludwick said. "And my next at-bat, I was even more thrilled. I hit that ball harder than the home run. The swing was more pure, the ball had no sink. That ball I hit to the shortstop was the hardest ball Ive hit since Ive been here. That was my best swing since Ive been here." Zack Cozart added a tie-breaking two-run homer as the Reds piled up 14 hits, their highest total against an NL Central opponent since June 11. They evened their series at a game apiece with their 13th victory in their last 18 games overall. Bronson Arroyo (13-9) won his fourth straight start by allowing three runs, including Caleb Gindls pinch-hit homer leading off the eighth. The right-hander hasnt walked a batter in his last 29 2-3 innings. Aroldis Chapman pitched the ninth for his 33rd save in 38 chances. The left-hander hit a batter and fanned three with a fastball that repeatedly registered 102 mph. "It was a good win for us as a whole," Arroyo said. "The bullpen got some rest. Weve been playing good baseball. After you take three out of four from Arizona, you dont want to lose two in a row." Ludwick and Cozart connected in the sixth inning off John Axford (6-7), who failed to hold a 2-1 lead. Joey Votto added his 19th homer an inning later off Michael Gonzalez, and Cozart singled for his third RBI. Axford had a rough start to the season, giving up runs in each of his first four appearances. He didnt give up any runs in 31 of his 32 appearances from May 15 to July 24. His inconsistency has been a mystery. "Its hard to know," manager Ron Roenicke said. "When hes right, I want him in there. But hes got to bee more consistent.authenticbillsshop.com/Cyrus-Kouandjio-Bills-Jersey. "Hes got to get back to that guy he was for 30 outings in a row. He was really good for a while." Chris Heisey started it with a solo homer off Wily Peralta, who lasted only five innings. The right-hander is 1-3 in five starts against the Reds this season. Last Sunday in Milwaukee, he gave up seven runs in only 4 1-3 innings of a 9-1 loss to the Reds. Ludwick tore cartilage in his right shoulder while sliding headfirst into base on opening day, sidelining him for more than three months. His homer was his first since a solo shot off San Franciscos Matt Cain during Game 5 of the Giants playoff victory in Cincinnati last season. "Its a work in progress," Ludwick said. "Im not where I want to be. Did I expect to be in midseason form? Yeah, probably. I was probably asking too much." Arroyo overcome a tough early inning. Khris Davis drove in the Brewers first run with a double in the second, extending his impressive series. He had a pair of two-run homers in consecutive at-bats for a 6-4 win on Friday night. Davis was called up for his third stint with Milwaukee when Ryan Braun accepted a 65-game suspension on July 22 for using performance-enhancing drugs. The rookie has batted .383 with eight homers since then, earning regular playing time in the outfield. Hes got a 10-game hitting streak. Scooter Gennett followed Davis double with a sacrifice fly for a 2-0 lead. Milwaukees defence cut down a rally in the fourth. Ludwick led off with a broken-bat single and tried to score from first base on Jack Hannahans double off the wall in left-centre field. Carlos Gomez got to the ball quickly and shortstop Jean Segura made a perfect relay to get Ludwick sliding into the plate. Notes: RH Greg Reynolds joined the Reds and will start on Sunday in place of LH Tony Cingrani, who has a strained lower back. The Brewers will start Marco Estrada. ... RF Jay Bruce got a day off. He has played in all but two of Cincinnatis games this season. ... Heisey extended his hitting streak to seven games. ' ' '

(SportsNetwork. Cheap Ravens Jerseys .com) - Richie Incognito has reportedly been admitted to a psychiatric care unit in Arizona. According to TMZ Sports, the offensive lineman at the center of the Miami Dolphins bullying scandal checked into a facility on Thursday night. Incognito was suspended by the Dolphins last November and didnt play the rest of the season after fellow offensive lineman Jonathan Martin left the team before a Week 9 game against Cincinnati and later claimed he had been bullied and harassed by teammates. The results of an investigation were released earlier this month and the 144- page report from Ted Wells concluded that the harassment was a contributing factor in Martins decision to leave the team, but added that it was not intended to drive him away or cause lasting emotional injury. Incognito had strong words for Wells via Twitter after the report was issued, then apologized to Wells, Dolphins owner Stephen Ross and Martin a few days later. SAN FRANCISCO -- As fans filed out of AT&T Park and into a sunny San Francisco afternoon, they serenaded the home team with chants of "Sweep! Sweep! Sweep!" The tune has become a familiar sound here this season -- and its only June. Preston Brown Blue Jersey . Gregor Blanco doubled, singled and drove in three runs, and the surging San Francisco Giants beat the New York Mets 6-4 on Sunday for their fifth straight win. "Theres nothing I can complain about," manager Bruce Bochy said. The Giants completed their fourth sweep of the season. Theyve won 14 of 17 games to build baseballs best record at 42-21, and they own a 9 1/2 game lead over the rival Los Angeles Dodgers in the NL West. Even those on the 2012 and 2010 World Series teams cant remember a regular-season roll like this. "Were going to ride it out, ride the wave," said Tim Lincecum, who allowed two home runs to Curtis Granderson in six innings. "Its fun to be a part of." San Francisco has done it behind a deeper lineup, which was evident again in its latest victory. Blanco gave Angel Pagan a day off in centre field. Hector Sanchez started at catcher for All-Star Buster Posey. Off-season addition Michael Morse played first base for Brandon Belt, who is on the disabled list with a broken left thumb. And Brandon Hicks started at second base, as he has most of the season for the injured Marco Scutaro. Morse, Hicks and Brandon Crawford each drove in a run for the Giants, who chased Zack Wheeler in the fourth. Wheeler (2-6) gave up four runs and six hits. "The club is getting contributions from everybody," Bochy said. "Last year, it seemed like your hope is through the heart of the order and then you have to wait for them to come back around." Grandersons two long balls provided the biggest highlights for the Mets, who have lost a season-high six straight. Lincecum (5-4) allowed six hits, struck out six and walked one in six innings. Four relievers held the Mets to one run in two innings before Sergio Romo recorded his 20th save in 22 chances. "Its tough to keep losing by one or two runs," Wheeler said. "But were at least keeping them close and on the edge of winning games by one or two runs." The Giants overcame deficits against the mistake-prone Mets in all three games. Following the pattern that played out all weekend, Granderson drove a 3-0 pitch over the wall in centre to give New York a 2-0 lead in the first. He hit his eighth homer of the season in the sixth and doubled in the eighth. The Mets might have scored more if Matt den Dekker had not been caught stealing third in the first. Blancos two-run double capped a three-run second for the Giants. Morse drove in another run to give San Francisco a 4-2 lead when he grounded into a double play in the third. "We do have confidence," Blanco said. "Anytime we see ourselves losing a game, for some reason, we step it up. For some reason, we get mad and things start happening." Lincecum singled in the fourth for his first hit of the year. That also ended the afternoon for Wheeler, who gave up four runs and six hits in 3 2-3 innings. He struck out six and walked two. Granderson started to bring the Mets back with a solo shot over the wall in right and into McCovey Cove in the sixth. It was his 15th multihomer game and first since Oct. 3, 2012, while playing with the Yankees against Boston. After Blancos RBI single in the seventh, Granderson doubled in the eighth, putting Daniel Murphy in position to score from third on Jean Machis wild pitch. Machi got Chris Young to fly out with Granderson on third to keep the Giants ahead. Brandon Hicks singled home another run for San Francisco in the eighth. NOTES: Mets 3B David Wright was out of the starting lineup for the first time all season. He struck out as a pinch-hitter in the seventh. ... San Francisco opens a four-game home series against Washington on Monday, sending Ryan Vogelsong (4-2, 3.39 ERA) to the mound opposite Nationals ace Stephen Strasburg (5-4, 3.10). ... The Mets have Monday off before beginning a three-game series against Milwaukee on Tuesday in New York.http://www.authenticbillsshop.com/Preston-Brown-Bills-Jersey . Morris made his first 11 shots en route to a 25-point performance and the Phoenix Suns handed the Toronto Raptors their fifth straight loss, 106-97.WINDSOR, Ont. -- Olympic medallist Jennifer Abel of Laval, Que., earned her first individual podium finish this season on the FINA World Series diving circuit, placing third in the womens three-metre springboard final on Saturday. World champion Tingmao Shi led China to a 1-2 finish with 398.45 points and Han Wang was second at 385.05. Abel stayed entrenched in third place through the entire five-dive final and collected 356.15. Pamela Ware of Beloeil, Que., placed fifth. Abels best result in her three previous World Series appearances this season was a fifth last month in London. "It was super important for me to get that medal," said Abel, a silver medallist with Ware on three-metre synchro on Friday. "This is where I want to be at this point in the season. I had a difficult start butt the work Ive put in is showing and Im gaining more confidence. Cyrus Kouandjio Jersey. " After five events, Wang stands first at 82 points in the World Series standings. He Zi, who dove for China at the first four events, is second at 70 and Tania Cagnotto of Italy is third at 56. Ware is in fourth spot at 48 and Abel is sixth. The Canadians missed the fourth stop in Moscow earlier this month because it conflicted with the Grand Prix competition in Gatineau, Que, which was also a selection meet for the FINA World Cup and the Commonwealth Games. On mens three-metre, world champion He Chong of China took gold. Jack Laugher of Britain placed second and Ilya Kvasha of Ukraine finished third. Two-time Olympian Riley McCormick of Victoria was sixth in his semifinal and took seventh place overall. ' ' '

KISSIMMEE, Fla. www.cheapjerseyfreeshipping.us . -- Atlanta Braves pitcher Tommy Hanson has been diagnosed with a mild concussion after an auto accident on his way to spring training. Manager Fredi Gonzalez said Tuesday that Hanson will miss the first two days of spring training, then gradually work his way back into a normal routine. If there are no setbacks, he should be back at full strength within a week. Hanson blew out a tire Monday near the Braves Disney World complex and may have bumped his head on either the windshield or the steering wheel. The right-hander was diagnosed with a grade one concussion but apparently has no other injuries. Hanson is expected to be one of the teams top starters, going 11-7 with a 3.60 ERA last season despite a shoulder injury. ATLANTA -- Hank Aaron is still the home run king to many. http://www.chinajerseyscheap.us.com/nhl-jerseys_los-angeles-kings-jersey/ . Even baseball commissioner Bud Selig has a difficult time seeing it any other way. Aaron was honoured before the Braves game against the New York Mets on Tuesday night with a ceremony commemorating the 40th anniversary of his 715th home run, the one that pushed him past Babe Ruth and gave him the major league record. Aaron finished with 755 home runs, but was eventually passed on the career list by Barry Bonds, whose career was tarnished by steroids allegations. Bonds has 762 homers, but many baseball fans dont accept that number and stand by Aaron as the true record-holder. Speaking with reporters after the ceremony, Selig was asked about Aaron being called the true home run king. "Im always in a sensitive spot there, but Ive said that myself and Ill just leave it at that," Selig said. During the ceremony Braves chairman Terry McGuirk said Aaron "set the home-run record the old-fashioned way" and added "You will always be the home run king of all time." Retired Braves broadcaster Pete Van Wieren earned a big ovation when he said Aaron is "still recognized as baseballs true home run king." Aaron, 80, was given a standing ovation in the ceremony before the game. Aaron broke Ruths record with his homer on April 8, 1974, off the Dodgers Al Downing. Downing attended the ceremony and threw out the first pitch. Some of Aarons 1974 teammates returned, including Dusty Baker, who was on-deck when the record-breaking homer was hit, Ralph Garr, Phil Niekro, Ron Reed, Marty Perez and Tom House, who caught the homer in the bullpen. Aaron thanked fans "for all your kindness all these many years." Aaron, recovering from recent hip-replacement surgery, used a walker. "The game of baseball was a way that I relaxed myself each year that I went on the field for 23 years," Aaron said. "I gave baseball everything that I had, everything, every ounce of my ability to play the game I tried to play to make you the fans appreciate me more. Thank you." Selig, Aarons longtime friend, established the Hank Aaron Award in 1999 to honour the top hitter in each league. He called Aarons 715th homer "the most famous and treasured record in American sports." Selig said Aaron was a worthy successor to Ruth as home-run king "because he is the living embodiment of the American spirit. ... Baseball is forever our national pastime because of people like Henry Aaron." The Braves wore their 1970s era white-and-blue uniforms, complete with small "a" caps, in tribute to Aaron. The Braves are wearing an Aaron 40th anniversary patch on their uniform sleeves this season. The numbers "715" were painted on the outfield grass, stretching from left-centre to right-centre. The Braves unveiled Aaron jerseys from other college and professional teams in the Atlanta area. Falcons owner Arthur Blank, former Georgia coach and athletic director Vince Dooley and former Georgia Tech coach Bill Curry were among those who stood with their teams jerseys adorned with Aarons name and No. 44. The outfield was filled with fans, each wearing blue 44 Braves jerseys and each holding baseball-shaped signs bearing numbers from 1 to 715. Cheap Cowboys Jerseys . Starting pitcher Takashi Saito was roughed up for four hits and two runs in an inning of work.Calgary Stampeders wide receiver Maurice Price caused a stir Monday with a negative tweet about Michael Sam, and the team isnt happy about it. The Stampeders issued a statement condemning Prices actions. “The Calgary Stampeders are outraged by the offensive comments made today in tweets from Maurice Prices account, The comments are repugnant and in no way reflect the organizations views or values. The matter will now be dealt with internally.” Price tweeted: "My faith wont allow me to ACCEPT what took place over the weekend! Sorry, NOTT sorry! #AdamAndEve #NotAdamAndAdam.chinajerseyscheap.us.com/nike-nfl-jerseys/. " In the since-deleted tweet, Price was referring to Sam, who is openly gay, being drafted by the St. Louis Rams of the NFL. When Sam recieved news he was drafted, he gave his boyfriend a kiss on national television. Sam was picked by the Rams in the seventh round of the NFL draft Saturday, becoming the first openly gay player drafted by a pro football team. While the Stampeders stated they would deal with Price internally, the CFL may still levy a punishment for the tweet. ' ' '

ROME -- England cheered for France, to no avail. Dominique Easley Jersey . France couldnt do itself or England a favour by beating Ireland in the Six Nations finale, as Ireland won 22-20 to take the title and leave England runner-up for a third straight year on Saturday. England did its bit with a 52-11 win over Italy at Stadio Olimpico hours earlier, putting added pressure on Ireland to win in bogey Paris. Ireland pipped England on points difference by 10. The English underlined their game-by-game improvement, rebounding from an opening loss to France with four straight statement wins over Scotland, Ireland, defending champion Wales, and Italy, which conceded 50 points at home to the English for the first time in a decade. Italy, which wound up with the wooden spoon and winless, also hadnt shipped 50 to a Six Nations team in five years. "Credit to Ireland - they are deserved winners and its a fitting finale and send-off for Brian ODriscoll, a legend of the game whom everyone in this squad respects massively," England coach Stuart Lancaster said in a statement. "We always knew this was going to be one of the tightest Six Nations and go down to the wire." England scored seven tries to one in perfect spring conditions in front of a sell-out crowd. Owen Farrell scored a try and converted all seven to finish with 22 points. He made all eight of his goalkicks. Man-of-the-match fullback Mike Brown crossed twice. "We scored some great tries and weve come here and scored 50, and not many teams have done that," Lancaster said. "There were some errors in the first half, but Im just proud of the boys. Its a great squad weve got developing and the bigger picture is important." Lancaster emptied his bench in the second half, and centre Manu Tuilagi, on for Luther Burrell, made his first England appearance in a year, and six month after a chest surgery, and scored the teams sixth try. Then England conceded an intercept try to winger Leonardo Sarto, which hurt Englands hopes of making a bigger impact through points differential. It was little comfort for Italy. "We started this tournament well and we finished negatively," Italy coach Jacques Brunel said, referring to a narrow opening loss at Wales. "Were behind in terms of what our goals were." The Pittsburgh Penguins have made the playoffs for eight years running, but losing in Game Seven of the second round this year caused them to clean house, firing GM Ray Shero and head coach Dan Bylsma. authenticraidersshop.com/Gabe-Jackson-Raiders-Jersey . Off-Season Game Plan looks at a Penguins team that has a new general manager, Jim Rutherford, and is still looking for a coach, but will surely expect to ice Cup contender next season. Its a little difficult to forecast what next years Penguins club will look like, not knowing yet who will be coaching, but its safe to expect some significant turnover on the roster. Pittsburghs third and fourth lines were obliterated for much of last season and many of those players are unrestricted free agents, so thats a starting point for change. Then, pending free agent D Matt Niskanen is coming off a career year that should price him out of the Penguins cap, as will Brooks Orpik, so there will be openings on the blueline for young defencemen to step in and play. In goal, maybe the new regime sticks with Marc-Andre Fleury for the final year of his contract, or maybe they will be more aggressive and go for sweeping changes. If the Penguins are inclined to move Fleury or James Neal or Kris Letang, that would be a big-splash move. Given their lack of depth on defence, moving Letang would be risky, but if Rutherford is inclined to shake things up, maybe the Penguins will look different than they did in 2013-2014, and maybe thats not an altogether bad idea. Sounds great, right? Well, it was up until the playoffs, when Crosby had a positively mortal showing, with one goal and nine points in 13 games. His possession numbers in the playoffs were still outstanding, but when the Penguins leave the playoffs earlier than expected, no one wants possession stats, they want goals. So, Crosbys rep takes a hit for that playoff slump, but hes still the best in the game so long as he stays healthy. Injuries have started to pose a problem for Evgeni Malkin over the past couple seasons, as hes missed 39 games in two years since he led the league in scoring 2011-2012. While Crosby has been the leagues top even-strength point producer over the past couple seasons, Malkin ranks 19th, which is good, but not befitting his skill level, which is right at the top of the league. Over the same time frame, hes more effective with the man advantage, ranking fifth in points/60 during 5-on-4 play. So long as the Penguins have those two, they have a chance to contend for the Cup but, as weve seen over the past five seasons, it cant be just those two. The supporting cast matters. Since the start of the 2011-2012 season, James Neal ranks fifth in goals (88) and tied for 17th in points (178) with strong possession stats, yet hes another player coming off a disappointing playoff performance (2 G, 2 A in 13 GP) and has been mentioned as a possible trade candidate if the Penguins are looking for a major shake-up. Neal is on a very reasonable contract, for the next four seasons, but maybe thats what makes him even more appealing and could yield the highest rate of return. Dealing a 26-year-old scoring power forward isnt an easy decision, but is an option available to new GM Rutherford. A 34-year-old coming off a career-best season, Chris Kunitz set career-best marks in goals (35), points (68) and played a career-high 19:09 per game. However, he faded down the stretch, with 13 points in 24 games from the start of February through the end of the regular season and he consistently gets leveled with criticism that his production is tied to his place on Crosbys wing. No matter with whom Kunitz has played, his possession numbers have always been excellent, so he warrants a top-six role, but as he hits his mid-thirties, its also reasonable to expect decline. Pascal Dupuis missed more than half of the 2013-2014 season after tearing his ACL, and while hes been a solid player alongside Crosby, theres a feeling that the Penguins could do better with a more skilled player in that spot. If Dupuis is back up to speed next season, he should have an opportunity to reclaim his old gig, but it wouldnt come as a shock if the 35-year-old, with one season of more than 50 points on his resumé, was placed into more of a checking/two-way role. A couple injuries, most notably wrist surgery, limited Beau Bennett to just 21 games in his second pro season and while his point production hasnt yet broken through, he had impressive possession numbers and saw regular time in a top-six role once he returned to the lineup. Going into next season, Bennett may have first crack at a spot on one of the Penguins scoring lines. Craig Adams has missed two games in the past five seasons and the durable checker doensnt cheat on the effort he gives night-in and night-out. He also scores remarkably little for as much as he plays -- the 12:28 per game he logged last season representing his highest average time on ice since 2003-2004. Thats probably too much ice time for a 37-year-old who has been getting obliterated in possession terms for a while now, but Adams is an inexpensive depth forward with two Stanley Cups to his credit. Similarly durable, Brandon Sutter has missed one game in the past four seasons and while he gets fed defensive zone starts as the Penguins No. 3 center, Sutter has been getting thumped possession-wise with the Penguins. Maybe thats a function of subpar linemates, and that could be improved with offseason additions, but Sutter could use a better season in 2014-2015 to establish his credentials as a two-way checking centre. The priority for the Penguins this offseason should be to upgrade their third and fourth lines. While that might be considered tweaking, adding three or four legitimate forwards to the roster is more than cosmetic change. How the Penguins fill out their forward vacancies will be hugely important, but its not going to be easy. Even with young, inexpensive defencemen on the roster, the Penguins have marquee players like Crosby, Malkin and Neal that take up a good chunk of the cap room and when the Penguins need to add as many bodies as they do, it would really help to find a bargain or two. Some options that could be of interest include: Nikolai Kulemin, Blake Comeau, Brian Boyle, Steve Ott, Steve Downie, Derek MacKenzie, Manny Malhotra, Jay McClement and Peter Regin; the Pegnuins also may want to re-sign Brian Gibbons, who showed enough in half a season to warrant a full-time role.   Returning Defence Player Rating GP G A PTS CF% Cap Hit Kris Letang 74.43 37 11 11 22 48.8% $7.25M Paul Martin 73.40 39 3 12 15 49.2% $5.0M Olli Maatta 66.91 78 9 20 29 50.5% $894K Robert Bortuzzo 61.14 54 0 10 10 45.4% $600K Rob Scuderi 55.52 53 0 4 4 43.9% $3.375M Free Agent Defence Player Rating GP G A PTS CF% Class 13-14 Cap Hit Matt Niskanen 74.53 81 10 36 46 53.4% UFA $2.3M Brooks Orpik 63.71 72 2 11 13 46.2% UFA $3.75M Deryk Engelland 62.01 56 6 6 12 43.8% UFA $567K There are some complicated situations on this Penguins roster and none may be more challenging than Kris Letang, an elite puck-moving defenceman who has played more than 24 minutes per game for four straight seasons and was third in Norris Trophy voting in 2012-2013. However, Letang had quite a 2013-2014 season, marked by suffering a stroke which, combined with other injuries, contributed to his missing 45 games. When he did play, Letang finished with a career-high 11 goals, yet his relative possession stats were the worst of his career and he also had the lowest on-ice shooting percentage of his career, which is most likely a run of bad luck. With all that in the file, along with Letangs pricey contract extension kicking in, its possible that hes part of a major shake-up, though the stroke might make it difficult for another team to pull the trigger, no matter how well Letang has played when healthy. A broken leg and broken hand cost Paul Martin more than half of last season, and while Martin has handled a heavy workload for the Penguins -- nearly 25 minutes per game over the past couple seasons -- hes also seen his puck possession numbers dip, which could be function of others in the Pittsburgh lineup, but it doesnt reflect well on Martin. Hes 33 and heading into the final year of his contract, so an extension is possible, or maybe the new regime will be fine to let Martin play it out. Olli Maatta had a wonderful rookie season, earning a bigger role with his steady play. The 19-year-old was poised and not afraid to join the play -- his 29 points ranking fifth among teen defencemen since 2000 -- so while he arrived without too much fanfare last season, expectations will justifiably be higher for Maatta next year. It wont be easy, however, since hes not likely to be ready for the start of the year as he recovers from off-season shoulder surgery. A physical presence when hes in the lineup, Robert Bortuzzo saw action in a career-high 54 games last season and hes on the edge of a spot in the lineup. He doesnt move the puck well enough to climb the depth chart, but as a six or seven, hes probably a reasonable fit. Times get tough for defensive defencemen as they age, what with the wear and tear of constant battles and blocked shots, and so it goes with 35-year-old Rob Scuderi, a two-time Cup winner who was stuck in his own end a lot last season. The good news for the Penguins is that they have defence in the pipeline. Simon Despres, Brian Dumoulin, Derrick Pouliot (when healthy) are all prospects that should be able to help, very soon. He was even okay in this years playoffs, his .915 save percentage in the postseason was the second-best of his career. He has one year left on his current contract and its possible that the Penguins will let that play out, but maybe not. 27-year-old Jeff Zatkoff finally reached The Show, while Tomas Vokoun was out for the season, and Zatkoff was a serviceable backup for 20 games, earning a new contract that makes him a very inexpensive backup. An elite puck-moving defenceman who can run the power play and blast from the point, Pouliot had 102 points in 79 WHL (regular season plus playoff) games last season. His arrival in the NHL will be delayed as he recovers from shoulder surgery, but even if that means hes not an option for the first hallf of next season, theres a chance that Pouliot could contribute after that. A new regime may be just what the doctor ordered for Simon Despres, the 30th pick in the 2009 Draft, who has played well in his NHL opportunities, putting up 16 points in 85 career games, but also hasnt been able to lock up a regular spot. With free agents likely on the move and Pouliot recovering from surgery, Despres should have a very good chance to stick with Pittsburgh next season. Acquired from Carolina in the Jordan Staal trade, Brian Dumoulin had a strong season with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and got into six games with Pittsburgh. He has good size, which he could use more, but can move the puck and handle big minutes in the AHL. Could be time for a longer look at the next level. Drafted in the second round last summer, Tristan Jarry backstopped Edmonton to the Memorial Cup, handling a heavy workload (84 games between regular season and playoffs). Hes a 19-year-old goaltender, so its going to take some time before hes ready to challenge for a spot. Picked in the second round in 2011, Scott Harrington had a solid first pro campaign and projects to be a shutdown defender when he reaches Pittsburgh. That day may not be too far down the road. Taken in the third round in 2012, Matt Murray had an excellent season with Saulte Ste. Marie of the OHL, an indication that perhaps hes starting to reach his potential. The 6-foot-5 tender needs to fill out and will have time in the AHL to further develop his game. Of course, having Jarry in the organization too ought to ensure that Murray isnt complacent as he climbs the ladder. Signed as a free agent out of Nebraska-Omaha, Jayson Megna split last season between the AHL and NHL, putting up nine pints (5 G, 4 A) in 36 games with Pittsburgh. He could have a chance to compete for a depth role next season. A sixth-round pick in 2011, Josh Archibald had 79 points in 76 games over his last two collegiate seasons and joined Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at seasons end. Hes small, but will get the chance to show that he can use his speed to create scoring opportunities as a pro. Two-way centre Oskar Sundqvist was a third-round pick in 2012 and played in the Swedish Hockey League for league champs Skelleftea last season. See how he adjusts to North America and go from there. There are a few blueliners ahead of Philip Samuelsson on the Penguins organizational depth chart, but the 2009 second-rounder has made steady progress, getting into five games with Pittsburgh last season. A smallish playmaker, Jake Guentzel was a third-round pick last summer and then had a strong freshman season at Nebraska-Omaha (same school as Megna and Archibald). With a few years to fill out and get stronger, hell have a chance to be a solid pro. It wasnt the easiest first pro season for Anton Zlobin, a sixth-round pick in 2012, who spent some time in the ECHL (scoring 11 points in 10 games), but he had 10 points in his last 17 regular season games, then 10 points in 15 playoff games. If he continues on that path next season, his production will get him noticed. Finally, it appears that Roberto Luongo is getting his wish: a return to South Florida. http://www.nflchinacheapjerseysstore.com/Mlb-jerseys_New-york-yankees-jersey/ . Numbers Game looks into the deal sending Luongo back to Florida, leaving the Canucks with a decidedly different goaltending picture than they had one year ago. The Panthers Get: G Roberto Luongo and LW Steven Anthony. Luongo, 34, has been a strong starting goaltender for a long time. Even this season, as he has been dealing with a challenge for playing time from Eddie Lack, Luongo has a .917 save percentage, which ranks 16th out of 37 goaltenders to play in at least 25 games this season. Over the past four seasons, Luongos even-strength save percentage (.929) ranks sixth among goaltenders with at least 5000 minutes played. Now, that Luongo has been effective to this point is no great secret, but the question is how long he will remain an effective starter. Hes under contract, at a cap hit of $5.333M per season, through 2021-2022 and its pretty easy to forecast that Luongo wont be playing at such a high level at that point. Can he be an above-average starter through 37 or 38-years-old? That would probably be the best-case scenario. Aside from Luongos level of play, there is some value to his contract for the Panthers. Even with the Canucks picking up a portion of the contract, Florida is a team that, to this point, has faced more challenges getting to the floor than staying under the cap. If that means that five years from now their backup goaltender costs more than $5-million, then it may not be a huge issue. Where the finances get especially tricky is if Luongo retires before the end of his contract, because it is a prime candidate for the recapturing device implemented in the latest collective bargaining agreement and, according to Cap Geek, the Canucks could face a hefty cap hit if Luongo doesnt play out his entire deal. So, taking a step past the financial ramifications and getting back on the ice, the Panthers have upgraded their goaltending and for a team with improving possession numbers, an above average goaltender could be enough to put them back in the playoff hunt as soon as next season. Anthony is a 22-year-old winger who has been buried in the low minors, scoring 45 points in 108 games between the ECHL and CHL over the past three seasons. He played junior with Jonathan Huberdeau, but Anthony is too far away from the NHL to think thats going to be a factor that will increase his stature in the organization. The Canucks Get: G Jacob Markstrom and C Shawn Matthias. Markstrom is a 24-year-old who has long been considered a top prospect since he was the 31st overall pick in 2008, but there have been some bumps in the road that have put his future into question. In 43 career games, Markstrom has an .898 save percentage. Since 2005-2006, that ranks 88th out of 105 goaltenders with at least 40 games played, numbers brought down by an abysmal start (.874 SV% in 12 GP) to this season. Since he was returned to the AHL, Markstrom has posted a .918 save percentage in 29 games and has a .917 save percentage in 131 career AHL games, which is decent enough to get another look in the NHL, particularly with a new team that has an opening on the NHL roster. Markstrom currently has to be considered behind Eddie Lack on the depth chart. 26-year-old Lack, who has a .924 save percentage in 25 games this season, isnt nearly established enough in the starters role that the job wont be up for a more open competition in the future. Markstrom has the pedigree and was the starter for Brynas IF Gavle in the Swedish Elite League in 2009-2010, when Lack was his backup. Matthias, 26, is a 6-foot-4 centre who teases every so often (like scoring five points in the past two games, or tying for second on the Panthers with 14 goals last season) with occasional offensive ability, but he hasnt been terribly productive, scoring 97 points in 312 career games. His puck possession stats have been subpar even while facing lesser opposition. With the Canucks apparently heading toward rebuilding, there should be some opportunity for Matthias to play regular minutes and establish whether or not hes a legitimate top-nine forward. To this point in his career, the answer to that very much depends on the day. Matthias is under contract through next season with a cap hit of $1.75-million. In the end, the Canucks have precious little to show for what was once one of the games top goaltending tandems. A year ago, they had Cory Schneider and Luongo, now both are gone and the Canucks have Matthias and a couple of prospects (Markstrom and ninth overall pick Bo Horvat) in return. If the Canucks take a hit on the salary cap because of recapture five or six years down the road, well, thats just a bitter aftertaste to a situation that hasnt been very pleasant for the past couple seasons anyway. Toronto Argonauts quarterback Ricky Ray took first team reps at practice on Thursday, fueling speculation that he may return to action this weekend.http://www.cheapjerseys2014.us.com/YOUTH-JERSEYS.html . Ray suffered a partially torn muscle in his throwing shoulder in a game against the Calgary Stampeders in Week 9. He was expected to be out up to six weeks. "Obviously, its not 100 per cent like it would be at the beginning of the year but it feels good," said Ray after practice. "I dont think about it when Im throwing." The Argonauts lost their next game but then made CFL history, winning four consecutive road games with Zach Collaros at the helm. Should Ray play on Thanksgiving Day in Hamilton, it would be six weeks since he suffered the injury. "Its hard to say. This is really my first full day back in a couple months. If I can get through tomorrow and the next day, Ill have a good shot," added Ray. However, head coach Scott Milanovich stopped short of making any confirmation that Ray would be starting on Monday. NEW YORK -- Shaun Livingston was flying all over the court. http://www.cheapjerseyswholesalenfl.us/cheapseahawksjerseysfromchina.html . LeBron James could only sit and watch. Joe Johnson scored 32 points, Livingston helped Brooklyn dominate the second overtime after James fouled out, and the Nets beat the Miami Heat 104-95 on Friday night for their fifth straight victory. Livingston had two baskets and two blocked shots in the second OT, finishing with 19 points, a career-high 11 rebounds and five assists over 51 minutes in a sensational effort while starting for injured Deron Williams. The Nets followed the lead of a player who spent years revitalizing a career that was sidetracked by a horrific knee injury, jumping on the Heat early and fighting them off late. "Gutsy. Gutsy," Kevin Garnett said. "I thought we fought for 48-plus minutes." Paul Pierce scored 23 points but missed jumpers that could have won it at the end of regulation and the first overtime. Still, the Nets remained unbeaten in 2014, adding a victory over the two-time defending NBA champions to their recent wins over Oklahoma City and Golden State. "It was huge," Livingston said. "Weve obviously been playing better as of late. I think our momentum that we were carrying into this game, were trying to ride that wave." James had 36 points, seven rebounds and five assists, but fouled out on an offensive foul with 36 seconds left in the first overtime and the Heat trailing by two. It was the first time that James fouled out in the regular season since 2008. Miami pushed it to a second overtime without him, but it was all Nets from there against a Heat team that was already missing Dwyane Wade and two other starters. James was visibly frustrated with his teammates in the first half -- he said he apologized at halftime for his attitude and body language. He was irate when Mirza Teletovic flagrantly fouled him, but nearly overcame all that to help Miami pull it out. "Were a no-excuse team, but right now we have three starters that didnt play," James said. "Even though weve got a lot of depth, it is hard to make up for three starters being out." Miami totalled six points in the overtimes, fewest ever in the shot clock era (since 1954-55) in a game that went at least two overtimes. Norris Cole scored 18 points, but Ray Allen was 2 of 14 for nine points in place of Wade, who rested his sore knees after playing 39 minutes in a loss at New York on Thursday. Shane Battier and Mario Chalmers also sat out the game, which featured players on both teams wearing nicknames on their jerseys, a first of its kind in the NBA. Livingston and Johnson made the first two baskets of the second overtime, then Livingston blocked a shot by Cole. Pierce followed with a 3-pointer, Garnett made a jumper and Livingston spun into the lane for a dunk and a 104-93 lead. He had another block on Allen, who finally made the Heats only basket of the second OT on a wide-open layup with 16 seconds to go. The Heat came up with the idea to wear nicknames on their jerseys and wanted another team to participate, and the Nets were selected. So in place of the teams regular jerseys were ones reading names such as King James and J. Shuttlesworth (for Allens character, Jesus Shuttlesworth, in the film "He Got Game.") The Nets wore their road black jerseys with Truth (Pierce) and Big Ticket (Garnett). Gimmicks are nice but good games are even better, and the Heat and Nets delivered a great one. "This was a playoff atmosphere-type game," Pierce said. "You just felt the energy in the building." The Nets led 93-89 in the first OT and were still up two after James fouled out, but Cole pushed the ball up the court and nailed a jumper with 3.3 seconds to go to tie it. The Nets controlled the second extra period, handing Miami a second loss in two nights in the Big Apple and matching their win total for both November and December, with eight games left this month. Even short-handed, James and the Heat played as though they desperately wanted this one, erasing a 14-point deficit. James looked ready to fight when Teletovic wrapped his arms around James neck to stop a drive to the basket with a flagrant foul. "He went around my neck," James said. "Its not a basketball play." Said Teletovic: "Just tried to make a foul to stop the score. He shouldnt be reacting like that. Its OK. Its just basketball." It was tied at 89 with 40 seconds left after a free throw by James, and Pierces long jumper rimmed out as time expired. "They made bigger plays going down the stretch in the overtime," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. "When we pushed it to that point, even with LJ out, we thought we had a chance. Guys really competed down the stretch." NOTES: The teams will wear the nickname jerseys again on March 12 and April 8 in Miami. The Heat will also wear them at home against Boston on Jan. 21. ... The Nets begin a three-game, three-country road trip Saturday in Toronto. They face the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday in London, then return home to visit the Knicks on Jan. 20.cheapseahawksjerseysfromchina . The Jets are now 6-1 in the last seven games since Paul Maurice came on board. It was quite a week for the Jets, as they came out with four of six road points against three of the best home teams in the NHL. It was a win in Anaheim, the first regulation home loss of the season for the Ducks, a 1-0 loss in San Jose, and this win over Chicago, a team that going into the game had only lost three home games in regulation.? Add the home win over Toronto and in a stretch of four games in six nights, they picked up six of eight points. The win was the first in seven attempts for the Jets on the second night of back to back games. The first period was all Chicago. Brandon Bollig with his sixth opened the scoring at 1:21, with the Hawks outshooting the Jets 18-2. The Jets did not get their first shot on goal until the 10:13 mark of the period. Al Montoya playing in his hometown was terrific. It was not a great goal that opened the scoring, but the veteran netminder was able to put it behind him and make save after save as the Hawks attempted to blow the game open. The Jets were better in the second but it was still near the midway mark of the period before they got their first shot on goal. Shots in the second were 9-4 in favour of the Hawks, but again Montoya made a number of big saves to keep his team in the game. Andrew Ladd appeared to tie the game, but defenseman Sheldon Brookbank stopped a shot that was headed into the open side. The one area the Jets did dominate in was the physical part, and by the third it seemed to slow the Hawks down. Corey Crawford still looking for his first shutout kept it a 1-0 Chicago lead with a number of good saves, his best off defenseman Adam Pardy off a rebound. The next rebound chance the Jets had tied the game as Blake Wheeler with his 20th of the year made it 1-1. Mark Stuart shot it from the left point, it went off Evander Kane, Crawford made the save before Wheeler burieed it. cheapjerseyswholesalenfl.us/. That came at 8:16, with the Jets getting their first lead of the game at 12:53 after a Marian Hossa pass in his own end ended up on the stick of Andrew Ladd who snapped it low glove for his 12th of the year.? Wheeler put the game away with an empty net goal at 18:45 on an assist from Toby Enstrom. After a good shift by the Bryan Little line -- and considering it was back to back -- Maurice wanted size and strength in a defending role, and sent out Wheeler, Olli Jokinen and Dustin Byfuglien. That shift led to the empty net goal. Shots in the third favoured the Jets 15-8. Over the game it was 35-21 Hawks. The Jets outhit the Hawks 53-17 with Byfuglien leading the way with eight. Micheal Frolik led in shots with four, Zach Bogosian in ice time at 26:16, his defense partner Enstrom next at 25:07. Each was a plus two in the game. After going without a goal in November, Wheeler has 16 goals in his last 26 games, and is 5-5-10 in the last seven games. “Its been a tough grind. Weve played three of the top five teams in the league this week and the first period showed just how tough it is. I cant say enough about what a character win this is,” commented Maurice post-game. “Down one going into the third to the second best team we felt we would just throw everything at them. If youre not out of the game, it means you are absolutely in it.” On the play of Montoya who was playing his first game since the coaching change: “He won us the game. He was great. We asked him to be special and he was.”? The Jets are home to Nashville Tuesday (TSN Jets, TSN 1290), Vancouver at MTS Friday (TSN, TSN 1290) then close out the pre-Olympic schedule with a four-game road trip. Tuesday is “Hockey Talks” night at MTS. Jets players will wear a #11 Rick Rypien jersey during warm-up. The jerseys will then be auctioned off to raise money for mental health awareness. LIVERPOOL, England -- Luis Suarez marked his new Liverpool contract with two goals on Saturday to send his team provisionally top of the Premier League with a 3-1 victory over Cardiff. Chris Watt Jersey . The Uruguay strikers first-half double took his tally to a Premier League season-leading 19 goals despite missing the first five games while banned for biting. On the eve of the match, Suarez signed a new Liverpool deal through 2018. Between Suarezs strikes, Raheem Sterling also scored for Liverpool, and Jordon Mutch scored Cardiffs only goal in the second half. Liverpool moved a point ahead of Arsenal, which plays Chelsea on Monday. The loss will likely further weaken coach Malky Mackays grip on the Cardiff job amid a power struggle with owner Vincent Tan, who was at Anfield. Mackay said after the game that he would not resign despite being told told by Tan earlier in the week to leave or be fired. Fuelled by Suarezs goals, Liverpool has now overtaken long-time leaders Arsenal, which faces fellow top-four side Chelsea on Monday. With the season almost halfway through Liverpool must now be classed as credible rivals to Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea. Brendan Rodgers side must face both City and Chelsea in their next two matches but with Suarez in this form the Reds can go into the games with confidence. Suarez has 19 goals in 12 league matches, including 10 in his last four games, and he set a Premier League record with his first goal, which was his ninth in December. Suarez scored his first against Cardiff in the 25th minute after running towards the penalty area where Jordan Henderson picked him out with an inviting cross which was expertly volleyed past goalkeeper David Marshall. That maintained Suarezs record of scoring in every home match -- six in total -- he has been available for this season, having been suspended early on. Cue the inevitable Liverpool onslaught which saw Martin Skrtel head over, Sterling have a shot blocked and Jon Flanagan and Philippe Coutinho both hit the post, with the latters effort only just kept out by the outstretched boot of Marshall. It seemed despite Liverpools dominance, its lead would be a slender one at the break but three minutes before the interval the hosts struck again, thanks to their two best players in recent weeks. Hendersons through-ball was superb in itself but no surprise considering his improved quality this season. Suarez, with only Marshall to beat, instead squared the ball for Sterling to slot home. Suarezs second of the game came after Hendersons backheel was all the invitation the Uruguayan needed as he opened his body to curl a shot around a pack of bodies in the penalty area and inside Marshalls left-hand post in the 45th for Liverpool to go 3-0 ahead. The second half should have been a procession for the home side but that was interrupted by Mutchs unchallenged header from a free kick in the 58th minute. Cardiff subsequently enjoyed its best spell of the game but that was ended when Sterling forced Marshall to save in a one-on-one and Suarez followed up to blast a shot against the post.Jeremiah Attaochu Kids Jersey . With Daniel Ricciardos maiden victory in Canada two weeks ago, Red Bull ended a six-race winning streak by Mercedes but the Australian driver and his teammate Sebastian Vettel did not come close to matching their rivals speed on the Red Bull Ring. Lewis Hamilton beat teammate Nico Rosberg to the fastest time in the second practice. Hamilton completed his best lap on the 4.3-kilometre (2.7-mile) track in 1 minute, 9.542 seconds, topping Rosberg by 0.377. Ferraris Fernando Alonso was almost a second off the lead in third. Vettel came sixth, more than 1.4 seconds behind Hamilton, while Ricciardo posted the eighth fastest time. Mercedes also came 1-2 in the opening practice, with Rosberg beating Hamilton by 0.140. "Its so close between the two of us," Rosberg said about the fight with Hamilton for pole position. "Im hoping we will still have the edge on everybody else. That seems to be the case today." However, Hamilton said he wouldnt mind if Rosberg started in front of him on Sunday. "Hunting definitely brings out the better side," the 2008 F1 champion said. "When you are in front, you feel vulnerable and any mistake you make you are going to be caught." In the morning session, Ricciardo and Vettel came only 13th and 15th respectively. "We clearly did better in the afternoon," Vettel said. "We are not there where we want to be when it comes to speed ... but it will be warmer on Saturday and Sunday and I think that will bring us closer." In the first session, Vettel brought his car back to the garage undamaged following a spectacular incident in the final turn. He came off the track and spun twice on the grass before the car came to a standstill on the track again. "t;That wasnt planned of course," the four-time champion said. Chris Watt Chargers Jersey. "I went too wide and the wet grass was slippery." Ricciardo also spun on the same spot shortly afterward, prompting team boss Christian Horner to joke "they were just warming up the crowd." "We are trying to find out the limit, and both just came on the grass," said Horner, adding the track was still lacking grip during the first session. "There was also a little bit of rain in the air. Thankfully everything is fine." Rosberg quit his first practice after 19 laps with a minor problem to his hybrid engine, enabling his technicians to fix the problem in time for the afternoons session. The German, however, couldnt keep up with Hamilton this time and didnt hide his anger as he was unaware over engine tests his team was applying on his car toward the end of the second session. "I was suddenly losing power and asked over the radio what was happening," Rosberg said. "Only then they told me they had changed my engine settings." Rosberg leads Hamilton in the drivers standings by 140-118 points going into Sundays race, the first GP in Austria since 2003. Most of the 22 drivers knew the track only from computer simulation. Alonso is one of just four drivers who raced on the track before, alongside McLarens Jenson Button, Ferraris Kimi Raikkonen and Williams Felipe Massa. The track is one of the shortest on the F1 calendar and features fast straights and only nine turns. Weather conditions could become an issue in the race as strong winds in the second practice Friday caused several drivers problems, especially on the third and eighth turns. The second session was considerably faster than the first as temperatures went up and teams were able to test their so-called supersoft tires, which helped cut lap times by approximately 0.6 seconds. The third practice is scheduled for Saturday, followed by the qualifying. ' ' '

CHICAGO -- Even without Patrick Kane -- and despite a run of sloppy plays and penalties -- the Chicago Blackhawks found a way to buckle down and beat the Carolina Hurricanes. authenticraidersshop.com/Khalil-Mack-Raiders-Jersey . Jonathan Toews short-handed breakaway goal early in the third period snapped a tie, and lifted the Blackhawks to a 3-2 victory on Friday night. Patrick Sharp scored his team-leading 30th goal and Kris Versteeg ended an eight-game drought to help the Blackhawks pull out a win without Kane, the teams leading scorer who was placed on long-term injured reserve after sustaining a lower-body injury in Chicagos victory over St. Louis on Wednesday. The Blackhawks were also without injured forwards Brandon Saad and Bryan Bickell, and defenceman Michal Rozsival. "Thats one of those things, we have to learn how to play without our best players," Toews said. "Weve done it without Hoss (Marian Hossa), and now Sadder and Kaner. "It doesnt matter. If someones nursing something, we have to find a way to fill that void." Sharp has scored at least 30 goals four times in his career. He has reached the mark in the past three full NHL seasons. Corey Crawford made 26 saves as defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago tightened up defensively and overcame mistakes late in the second period and early in the third that helped the Hurricanes fight back from a two goal deficit. "Thats a game we can look back on during the playoffs as being able to shut a team down in the last five minutes," Crawford said. "I dont think they got a shot in the last five minutes. Thats the way you want to play." Carolinas Alexander Semin scored his 20th and 21st goals 3:36 apart, but the Hurricanes lost to Chicago for the second time this season. The Blackhawks beat Carolina in a road shootout on Oct. 15 in their only other meeting this season. Semin tied it off a faceoff during a 5-on-3 power play at 2:58 of the third. Eric Staal won the draw and fed Semin, who fired in a screened shot from the top of the left circle. Semin had cut Chicagos lead to 2-1 with 37.7 seconds left in the second. He was open in the right circle, took Staals pass from the left boards and fired a quick shot past Crawfords glove. "We gave them some excitement to their game at the end of the second," Chicago coach Joel Quenneville said. "We took six penalties in a row, a stretch of six penalties that got them right back in the game. "Then Johnny scored a huge goal for us, which was very timely." Toews third short-handed goal at 3:29 of the third put Chicago ahead for good. A shot by Staal rimmed all the way around the boards in the Chicago zone and came out to centre ice. Toews got the puck, skated in alone, and beat Anton Khudobin with a high backhander. "Obviously I missed the shot down the wing," Staal said. "I wanted to go high glove, and they got a good bounce and good player going the other way on a breakaway." Once Toews put Chicago in front, the Blackhawks sparkled defensively in the third period and held on to extend their point streak to four games (3-0-1). Khudobin stopped 22 shots after a career-best 46 saves in Carolinas win at Columbus on Tuesday. Kane, who could miss the rest of the regular season, was injured in a collision with St. Louis Brenden Morrow. He left the ice under his own power, favouring his left leg. Earlier Friday, Chicago recalled top prospect Teuvo Teravainen and forward Jeremy Morin from Rockford of the AHL. The 19-year-old Teravainen, Chicagos first-round selection in the 2012 draft, didnt play against Carolina. The Blackhawks came out flying in the scoreless first and outshot Carolina 11-4. The Hurricanes didnt record their first shot until Nathan Gerbe forced Crawford to make a glove save 11:21 in. Sharp opened the scoring on a breakaway at 3:09 of the second. He took a stretch pass up the middle from Andrew Shaw and accelerated past defencemen Justin Faulk and Ron Hainsey. He beat Khudobin with a high backhander on the stick side. Versteeg made it 2-0 with 3:34 left in the second during 4-on-4 play. Defenceman Nick Leddy carried the puck down to the left corner, then centred a pass to Versteeg, who beat Khudobin on the glove side. NOTES: Kane must sit out a minimum of 10 games and 24 days. Blackhawks general manager Stan Bowman said there is "no reason to think he wont" be ready for the playoffs. ... Morin has one goal and four assists in 15 games with Chicago this season. ... The Ivory Coast forward set Arsenal on its way with the opener in the 11th minute and then provided assists for Santi Cazorla and Olivier Giroud to net in the second half. Hal Robson-Kanu pulled a goal back for Reading, but Mikel Arteta ended the struggling visitors hopes of an unlikely comeback by slotting home a penalty 13 minutes from time.(SportsNetwork.com) - The Montreal Canadiens will try to complete a four-game road trip with a third straight victory when they visit the Winnipeg Jets for Tuesdays clash at MTS Centre. Viewers in the Canadiens and Jets region can watch the game starting at 8pm et/7pm ct. You can also listen to the game on TSN 690 in Montreal, TSN 1290 in Winnipeg, and nationally at TSN.ca. The Canadiens will welcome back captain Brian Gionta for the game after the captains one-game absence for personal reasons. In other Habs roster notes, Daniel Briere will likely drop to the fourth line after practicing there on Monday.  The Canadiens began their current swing with a 3-2 regulation loss in Calgary, but have responded with consecutive victories in Edmonton and Vancouver. Both wins came by identical 4-1 scores. After downing the Oilers on Thursday, Montreal recorded its second straight 4-1 win Saturday against the Canucks. Max Pacioretty started the scoring early in the first period for the Canadiens, who will open a five-game homestand when they play their next game this Thursday against Columbus. Lars Eller tallied his fifth goal of the season, while Tomas Plekanec and Josh Gorges also lit the lamp for the Canadiens. Carey Price turned aside 39 shots for Montreal. "We played an excellent third period, our special teams played really well, we blocked a ton of shots...it was a complete effort by everybody," Price said. Ellers game-winning goal was an odd one to say the least. Vancouver defenseman Dan Hamhuis misplayed the puck behind the net and it went on to bounce off botth of Roberto Luongos skates and into the net.Justin Ellis Raiders Jersey. Eller was the only Montreal player close to the net and he was credited with a short-handed goal that gave the Habs a 2-1 lead. While Montreal attempts to end its current road trip on a positive note, the Jets hope to keep heading in the right direction on the clubs current six- game road trip. Winnipeg lost its third straight regulation game in the opener of this homestand, a 4-1 setback against Dallas on Friday, but rebounded with Sundays 3-0 victory over the winless New Jersey Devils. Al Montoya turned aside all 24 shots he faced in his season debut, backstopping the Jets to their first win since the second game of the season. Ondrej Pavelec started the first five games of the season before getting a breather on Sunday. Despite Montoyas strong showing on Monday, Pavelec expects to get the start tonight. Evander Kane scored two goals on Sunday for Winnipeg, while Michael Frolik added a pair of assists. "I take it upon myself to be one of the leaders in this room and on the ice," Kane said. "Whatever area I feel I need to lead in, whatever the situation is in the game I want to do that and I try to do that as much as I can." After Tuesdays tilt, the Jets will close this homestand with games against St. Louis, Nashville and Washington. The Canadiens have won five straight and eight of the last nine meetings with the Jets franchise. Montreal also has taken two of three in Winnipeg since the Jets relocated from Atlanta and the Habs have won three of the past four road meetings in this series overall. ' ' '

Lomachenko, 1-1 as a pro after going 397-1 as an amateur, earned an extra $15,000 for keeping the fight after Salido came in over the 126-pound class limit. Salido kept his body close on Lomachenko, and aimed punches at the challengers belt. He was cautioned on occasion to bring them up. HONOLULU -- While everyone was playing at half-speed and ready to extend their Hawaiian vacation, Brandon Marshall played as if it was his last game. Arthur Lynch Womens Jersey . The Miami Dolphins wide receiver caught six passes for 176 yards and a Pro Bowl-record four touchdowns, and the AFC used a second-half surge to beat the NFC 59-41 on Sunday. "You never know when youre going to be back," Marshall said, "and I wanted to go all out today because it could be my last Pro Bowl." Marshall had a touchdown catch in each quarter, including an early 74-yarder and a three-yarder in the fourth, in a game filled with highlight-reel grabs. He was selected the games MVP, and his name now will join the likes of Walter Payton and Jerry Rice on the MVP banners at Aloha Stadium. "You know what? I wanted it," he said. "Its a Pro Bowl. Some guys are playing 100 (per cent), some guys are playing 90, some guys arent playing at all, but it means a lot to be up in the rafters with some of these guys." The 59 points by the AFC set a Pro Bowl mark, and the 100 points scored by the teams combined was the second highest, a touchdown shy of the 107 scored in 2004. But it was clear from the start it was Marshalls day. He hauled in a deflected, go-ahead 47-yard TD pass from Andy Dalton, while on his back, to give the AFC a 38-35 lead late in the third quarter. It was Marshalls third TD catch of the game, tying Jimmy Smiths Pro Bowl record set in 2004. "It was the most unathletic highlight I ever had," he said. "Andy put it up there for me to make a play. I saw the ball, got nervous, fell, saw the ball, kicked it up and it just fell in my hands." Marshall, making his third Pro Bowl appearance, then nabbed a three-yard TD pass from Dalton that gave the AFC a 52-35 lead with 8:25 left and put the game away. "People were saying throw to him. I saw the matchup I had and hes a great receiver, so I knew he could make the play," Dalton said. Hawaii has been kind to Marshall, who also won MVP honours at Aloha Stadium in his final game at Central Florida in the 2005 Hawaii Bowl, where he caught 11 passes for 210 yards and three touchdowns. Marshall noted he had six TDs this season, but four this game. "It says a lot when youre playing with these type of quarterbacks," Marshall said. "They just put it in the right place and I just made the play. Hats off to those guys throwing me the ball." The game featured 36 first-timers, including rookie quarterbacks Cam Newton of the Carolina Panthers and Dalton of the Cincinnati Bengals, who replaced Super Bowl quarterbacks Eli Manning and Tom Brady. Their selection made this Pro Bowl the first to feature two rookie signal callers. Dalton and Newton played the entire second half. While Dalton looked composed, Newton played horribly -- struggling to move the ball, stay in the pocket and find his targets, which drew some boos from the sun-splashed, sellout crowd of 48,423. "No excuses," Newton said. "When you hang the ball up there, against these kind of players, thats what you get," Newton said. "Its the good and the bad of playing in a Pro Bowl. I learned a lot." Newton finished 9 of 27 for 186 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions. Dalton, meanwhile, was 7 of 9 for 99 yards and two TDs. On his first series, Newton overthrew a wide-open Tony Gonzalez over the middle, with the ball sailing into Eric Weddles hands. The San Diego Chargers safety popped up to his feet and returned it 63 yards to the NFC 23, leading to a 37-yard FG by Sebastian Janikowski, which gave the AFC its first lead of the game at 31-28. Newton recovered on the next series, airing out a 55-yard go-ahead touchdown pass to Panthers teammate Steve Smith, making it 34-31. But he was intercepted again on the next series. Weddle also intercepted another pass by Newton late in the game. After picking off the deep pass, he pitched it to teammate Derrick Johnson, who rumbled 60 yards for the AFCs final score. "None of us want to go out and lose, so we picked it up and went out and made some plays," Weddle said. "Got the W, thats the main thing." With the Pro Bowlers unable to get out of third gear -- particularly on the offensive and defensive lines -- and hitting each other as though they were having a pillow fight, the Pro Bowl featured some good, bad and real ugly -- sometimes on the same play. For example, Aaron Rodgers caught a pass from himself. His throw was deflected at the line and he leaped to catch the ball and backpedaled for a 15-yard loss. Rodgers was 13 of 17 for 141 yards and two TDs, giving him a quarterback rating of 139.6, higher than his NFL record 122.5 rating during the season. But he was watching late in the game as Newton struggled. Rodgers said its easier to play in the first quarter when the game isnt as intense. "Its tough to be the last guy in, when its the fourth quarter and money becomes an issue," he said. "Guys are playing a little bit harder. They come at you." The NFC had three players with 100-yard yard receiving: Gonzalez (seven for 114), Larry Fitzgerald (6 for 111) and Smith (5 for 118). The AFC and NFC traded score after score, and turnover after turnover in the first half. Rodgers and Fitzgerald connected for a pair of scores on back-to-back plays to put the NFC up 14-0 early in the game. After stopping the AFC on fourth down at midfield, Rodgers drove the NFC down the field and threw a 10-yard TD toss to Fitzgerald. Six seconds later, Rodgers aired a 44-yard rainbow in the end zone to Fitzgerald for another score after the NFC got the ball back with a surprise onside kick. The reception was Fitzgeralds sixth career TD catch in the Pro Bowl, tying Gonzalezs record. He would break the record with the games last touchdown, on a 36-yard pass from Newton. The AFC came right back and tied it up on two deep TD passes on the right side by Ben Roethlisberger. He threw a 34-yarder to rookie A.J. Green, and then connected with Marshall on a 74-yarder. But Drew Brees and the NFC kept the scoring going. Just like in the regular season, Brees and Saints teammate Jimmy Graham hooked up to give the NFC a 21-14 lead in the second quarter. On fourth-and-goal, Brees zipped a pass to Graham for a 6-yard score and would later find Greg Jennings for an 11-yard TD. Brees finished 10 of 14 for 146 yards and two touchdowns. Antonio Gates pulled in a 27-yard TD from Chargers teammate Rivers as time expired in the half to tie it at 28. Each AFC player earned a record US$50,000 for the win, while the NFC players received $25,000.authenticdolphinsshop.com/Jawuan-James-Dolphins-Jersey . AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- It was one of the most spectacular plays of a dreary season for the Detroit Pistons: Andre Drummond knocked a pass away near midcourt, took off toward the basket and threw down an emphatic one-handed dunk while being fouled by Atlantas Elton Brand. "I knew I didnt have a chance," Brand said. Drummonds dunk propelled the Pistons to a 115-107 win over the Hawks on Friday night that snapped Detroits three-game losing streak and handed Atlanta its eighth straight loss. The Hawks shot 17 of 20 from the field during a 41-point second quarter, but the Pistons rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit. "We came together at halftime. We asked each other if we really want this," Drummond said. "We looked each other in the eyes as men and we all came together and decided we wanted to do this. So we came out firing." Atlanta was without guard Jeff Teague, who was out with a sprained ankle. Al Horford was lost for the season in December with a torn pectoral muscle. Paul Millsap had 23 points for the Hawks. "We had that huge second quarter, but they must have gotten a huge pep talk at halftime, because they really came out for the third with a lot of energy," Atlantas Kyle Korver said. Drummonds dunk on Brand gave the Pistons a 93-88 lead with 10:00 to play. Brand was a good sport about it, smiling a bit and even appearing to look up at the scoreboard for a replay. Drummond finished 10 of 11 from the field, but the Hawks finally started fouling him intentionally. The Detroit big man finished 0 for 8 on free throws, and the Pistons eventually took him out for the final 3:40. "Obviously, were trying to get back into the game, and it helped," Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said. "We didnt score every time that we tried it, but it gave us a chance. It also helps that hes a great young player and we got him off the floor for a couple minutes." It was tied at 104 when Detroits Kyle Singler made a 3-poinnter from the right wing, and Will Bynum doubled the lead with a driving three-point play with 1:06 to go. Authentic JaWuan James Jersey. A 3-pointer by Singler with 30 seconds left made it 113-106. Greg Monroe had 22 points and 15 rebounds for the Pistons, who stood pat at the trade deadline Thursday. Detroit is now 2 1/2 games behind Atlanta and Charlotte, who are in a virtual tie for seventh place in the Eastern Conference. The Hawks looked unstoppable on offence in the second quarter, scoring at will while going the entire period without a turnover. But the Pistons outscored Atlanta 34-20 in the third. It wasnt a perfect second half by any means for Detroit, but the Pistons did show some urgency. Brandon Jennings, who was having a poor shooting game for Detroit, was fouled twice while shooting 3-pointers. After Jennings missed badly from 3-point range, Josh Smith blocked Millsap at the other end, and Jennings was waiting behind the defence for a layup that gave the Pistons an 82-79 lead. "We made two or three hustle plays that winning teams make," Detroit interim coach John Loyer said. "Two and three bodies on the floor, couple guys going out of bounds. You guys all watch the NBA. The better teams do that." Jennings finished with 12 points and 14 assists, although he didnt play at all in the fourth. Detroit went with Bynum instead, and he finished with nine points and seven assists. "Brandon is a scorer. Brandon has been a great facilitator for us," Loyer said. "He started to attack in the third quarter and Will came in and finished it. Thats what teammates do." NOTES: Atlanta shot 85 per cent in the second quarter, one of the top marks for one quarter in the NBA this season. Denver shot 87 per cent (13 for 15) in the fourth quarter at Toronto on Dec. 1, according to STATS. ... The Pistons outscored the Hawks 66-34 in the paint. ... CINCINNATI, Ohio -- With a game and its reputation on the line, the NFLs top-ranked defence wasnt going to let one get away in the closing minutes. Bradley Roby Jersey . Especially not against a Colts team that has become stunningly adept at giving them away. Cornerback Nate Clements blocked a late field goal try that would have tied the game, and Carlos Dunlap returned a fumble 35 yards for the clinching score Sunday, helping the Cincinnati Bengals hold on for a 27-17 victory that kept Indianapolis winless. "That was nerve-racking," Bengals receiver A.J. Green said. "Im glad we have a bye week now. I need it for my heart." The Bengals (4-2) matched their victory total from last season and ended a seven-game losing streak against the Colts, who had never lost to Cincinnati with Peyton Manning at quarterback. It was the third week in a row that the Bengals broke a long losing streak against an opponent. Now, they head into their bye week with their first three-game winning streak in two years. "I feel we can be as good as we want to be," Dunlap said. "Weve got the guys in place to go as far as we want to go." The question for the Colts is how low they will go. Manning was on the sideline again Sunday, watching helplessly as the Colts fell to 0-6 for the fifth time in franchise history. "Each game, were in it in the fourth quarter and something happens," defensive back Jerraud Powers said. "Something dramatic happens." Curtis Painter rallied Indianapolis from a 20-7 deficit in the second half, getting the Colts in range for Adam Vinatieris 52-yard field goal try to tie with 5:38 left. Clements came around the end of the line and swatted it away. That dramatic play was quickly followed by another. After the Bengals missed a field goal, Pierre Garcon was stripped of the ball as he tried to get extra yards after a catch, with the ball flying directly to Dunlap nearby. "I have no clue what happened," said Dunlap, who outran offensive linemen to reach the end zone. "I dont know how it came out, but I saw it coming down to me." It was the second straight Bengals win capped by a defensive lineman celebrating in the end zone. Geno Atkins 10-yard fumble return completed a 30-20 victory in Jacksonville a week earlier. Rookie quarterback Andy Dalton put together an impressive performance against the Colts hard-charging defence. He was 25 of 32 for 264 yards and one touchdown without a sack, completing 13 straight throws over one stretch. "Coming into the season, we werent getting much credit," Dalton said. "As a team, we have the attitude that were going to go out and prove everyone wrong. Weve played well, and weve been in every game weve played." Clements got it going by stripping Dallas Clark of the ball on Painters first completion, setting up Daltons 11-yard touchdown pass to Green. The Colts mess of an offence took two more hits Sunday. Already missing Manning, the Colts also were without injured running back Joseph Addai and left tackle Anthony Castonzo. Indianapolis had to shuffle its line, moving Jeff Linkenbach from right to left tackle. Guard Ryan Diam, hobbled by an ankle injury, moved from guard to right tackle. Not a good way to go against the NFLs top-ranked defence. Still, the Colts had a chance at the end. Painters 1-yard touchdown pass to Clark cut it to 20-17 with 9:33 left. He would get them in range for the tying field goal, only to have Clements -- a free agent acquisition who replaced Johnathan Joseph -- slap it away. Dunlaps fumble return with 2:22 to go ended Indys chances. Painter was 23 of 34 for 188 yards with his first interception in 115 attempts. Notes: Colts LB A.J. Edds left the game in the third quarter and was evaluated for a possible concussion. ... Nugents miss from 43 yards into a swirling wind snapped his streak of 13 straight field goals to start the season. ... It was the Bengals first blocked field goal since Antwan Odom blocked Kris Browns try on Oct. 18, 2009 against Houston. http://www.shopjerseysbroncos.com/Womens-Cody-Latimer-Authentic-Jersey/ .S. Olympic hockey team. Dustin Brown had a goal and an assist and Jonathan Quick made 25 saves as the Los Angeles Kings made it back-to-back wins Thursday night with a 2-0 victory over the Flames. Cody Latimer Jersey . Henry, who missed three games with a knee injury, was charged with a handball in the penalty area in the 82nd minute as he went to block a strike from Patrick Mullins. On the ensuing penalty kick, Lee Nguyen picked up his fourth goal of the season, giving the Revolution a 2-1 win Saturday afternoon.MIAMI -- The long break between games in the Eastern Conference finals could be welcomed by Indiana, after Pacers guard Paul George was diagnosed Wednesday with a concussion that will force him to complete several NBA-mandated procedures before he can return to the matchup against the Miami Heat. The series, now tied at a game apiece, doesnt resume until Saturday night. And what at first might have been looked at as an awkward break -- three full days off until the next game day -- is probably now welcomed by the Pacers. Indiana not only needs to get George cleared but also had starters Lance Stephenson, Roy Hibbert and David West all either limping or ailing in the final minutes of the Game 2 loss on Tuesday night. George was hurt with 6:52 left in the fourth quarter of Miamis Game 2 victory. He stole the ball from Heat guard Dwyane Wade, but could not keep control and wound up tumbling face-first to the court. Wade, also going for the ball, struck the back of Georges head with his left knee, then appeared to scrape the same area with his right leg as he also fell to the hardwood. George remained down for a few moments, but played the remainder of the game. He revealed afterward that he "blacked out" on the play, something that the Pacers say was not relayed to their medical staff. "George exhibited no symptoms of a concussion and, in response to questions from the Pacers medical staff, he denied dizziness, nausea, and issues with his vision," the Pacers said Wednesday. "He was also active and aware of his surroundings. As a result, the Indiana medical staff did not suspect a concussion." But after the "blacked out" comment, the Pacers evaluated George again Wednesday morning. "This case illustrates that concussion evaluation is an ongoing process and manifestations of the injury may not always present immediately," said NBA Concussion Program Director Dr. Jeffrey Kutcher, who will discuss Georges return-to-participation process with the Pacers team doctor before clearance is given for a return. Miami evened the series with an 87-83 win, after LeBron James and Wade controlled the fourth quarter for the Heat. www.shopjerseysbroncos.com/Womens-Cody-Latimer-Authentic-Jersey/. George made a 3-pointer to give Indiana a 73-69 lead on the possession immediately preceding the one where he got tangled with Wade. The Heat answered with a 13-2 run over the next 5 minutes, James scoring nine of those points and Wade getting the other four. Just like that, the Heat grabbed the home-court edge in the series. "Theyre a tough bunch," Heat forward Chris Bosh said of the Pacers. "Very good team and were going to continue to challenge each other throughout the series. Its just now getting started. We have to take care of home court. First, we can really relax for a few days, and then get to it on Saturday." Both teams were off on Wednesday. "I just know Ive got warriors behind me, and were just going to take it to them," Stephenson said. "Weve just got to take our time. Its a long series. Weve just got to stay together." The NBAs concussion policy states that once a player is diagnosed, he needs to be "held out of all activity until he is symptom-free at rest" and until neurological signs return to normal. George will have to go through tests of increasing exertion before he gets cleared. "Its important to note that there is no timeframe to complete the protocol," the NBAs policy states. "Each injury and player is different and recovery time can vary in each case." Pacers coach Frank Vogel said he was told during the game that George was "good to go." There were plenty of other aches and pains for Indiana to deal with. West appeared to get poked in an eye in the fourth quarter, Hibbert was flexing his left leg after a tumble in the final seconds, and Stephenson went down at midcourt after colliding with Wade on the games final play, grabbing the area around his right knee. Stephenson got up, took the games last shot and then limped off without needing any on-court medical attention. "Its never pretty basketball in the Eastern Conference," James said. ' ' '

OKLAHOMA CITY - If the Toronto Raptors can play at home the way theyve been playing on the road, they might just remain atop the Atlantic Division for a while.wholesale nfl jerseys . Kyle Lowry scored 22 points, making a pair of clinching free throws with 9.8 seconds left, and the Raptors handed the Oklahoma City Thunder their first home loss with a 104-98 victory on Sunday night. The Raptors outscored Oklahoma City 6-0 in the final 1:25, all on free throws, and ended the Thunders nine-game winning streak. Oklahoma City had been 13-0 at home, the NBAs longest unbeaten stretch to open a season since the Cleveland Cavaliers won their first 23 home games during the 2007-08 season. Amir Johnson had 17 points and 13 assists for Toronto, which won its fourth straight road game, its longest such streak since March-April 2002. Oklahoma City lost for the first time since Dec. 4 at Portland. Toronto coach Dwane Casey called the win, which moved the Raptors past Boston into first place in the Atlantic, his teams biggest of the season. Torontos road streak began with a victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Dec. 8 and the Raptors added wins at Chicago and Dallas before beating the Thunder. "Its one of those mysteries we have, of our focus on the road," Casey said. "Were a different team. I see it in our eyes before the game." Russell Westbrook scored 27 points and Kevin Durant added 24 for Oklahoma City, which missed its final four shots. Veteran forward John Salmons, who scored 14 points and hit the go-ahead free throws for Toronto, said winning on the road "just shows our mental toughness as a unit. . Sometimes its fun to play on the road, because its just us against everybody else." Toronto will play at San Antonio on Monday. Oklahoma City surged ahead with a 24-4 run during the third quarter that gave the Thunder an 82-71 lead. Toronto regained the lead in the fourth before a 3-pointer by Durant tied the game, but Salmons hit two free throws with 1:25 left to put Toronto up 100-98. The Thunders next two possessions ended in a missed 3-point attempt by Reggie Jackson and a block by Valanciunas on a layup attempt by Westbrook, with Toronto winning the scramble for the loose ball. Johnson hit two free throws with 14.5 seconds left to extend Torontos lead to 102-98. Durant missed a 3-point attempt and Lowry rebounded before hitting the Raptors final two free throws. "Its the NBA," Casey said. "It happens. Theyre one of the best defensive teams in the league. We knew they were going to come out in the third quarter with their best effort, which they did. We sustained it and took the punch." Oklahoma City, which entered the game second in the NBA in free throw shooting at 81.8 per cent, went 35 of 36 (97.2 per cent). But the Thunder shot 37 per cent from the field and scored a season-low 14 points in the fourth quarter. Durant finished 5 of 16 from the field and committed six of the Thunders 19 turnovers. "Losses happen in this league," Durant said. "They beat us fair and square, you know? We missed some shots, too. I think our defence was good. They got some shots late in the fourth quarter that helped them a little bit but I think our defence was good. We were swarming them and they hit some tough ones, too, but we missed some good looks." The Thunder, who have won 17 of their last 19 games, were coming off a win at San Antonio on Saturday night. Asked if the Thunder lacked energy down the stretch, Durant answered, "Nah." Toronto went 7 of 14 from 3-point range and scored on its final nine possessions of the first half, turning a five-point deficit into a 62-56 halftime lead. The 62 points were the second-most surrendered in the first half this season by Oklahoma City. Oklahoma City clamped down on defence in the third quarter, allowing the Raptors only 13 points, matching their season low for a quarter. DeMar DeRozan added 17 points for Toronto and Valanciunas had 13. Notes: Durant was called for a technical foul, his third of the season, while on the bench in the second quarter. Durant protested after a scramble for a loose ball between Oklahoma Citys Nick Collison and Torontos Valanciunas. Ironically, Valanciunas was called for a personal foul on the play that Durant protested . Toronto is 7-6 on the road. Its been since Feb. 25, 2008, that the Raptors have been above .500 on the road this late in the season . Thunder C Steven Adams picked up three fouls during a two-minute stint in the first quarter. wholesale jerseys .ca presents its latest weekly power rankings for the 2013-14 Barclays Premier League season.Cheap Jerseys from china . Price pitched a five-hitter for his third complete game of the season, Wil Myers had a two-run single, and the surging Tampa Bay Rays won for the 19th time in 22 games by beating the Boston Red Sox 5-1 on Wednesday night. DENVER -- Leave it to the Denver Nuggets reserves to steal the show. Al Harrington came off the bench to score 15 points, and reserve guard Rudy Fernandez had 12 points and eight assists in Denvers 110-83 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night. Each of Denvers 12 players scored at least six points, including 11 apiece by Timofey Mozgov and Arron Afflalo as the Nuggets won their third in a row and improved to 4-0 at home. They beat the Kings in Denver for the sixth straight time. "Its unique," said Kosta Koufos, who had his first career double-double (10 points, 10 rebounds) while helping to fill in for the injured Nene. "In every position, were deep. One person gets tired and another person comes in and plays just as well, and having that is a luxury for us. At the same time, we have the mentality to win as many games as possible and keep working hard and getting better as a team." While the Nuggets may lack superstars -- the team traded away Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups, its best known players -- coach George Karl said Denver is fortunate to have a very deep roster. It has allowed him to shuffle his players in and out in waves and run the floor, often wearing down the opposition, as was the case against the Kings. "Were going to go after teams with our intensity and, hopefully, the flow of flooding good players on to the court," Karl said. "Im still kind of learning this team, too. Its fun to see them evolve and see where we go." Added Afflalo: "Its still early. Weve been fortunate enough to gut-out some wins. We still have a lot of improving to do as a team and individually. Hopefully, we continue to stay on an upward pace and win at the same time." The Nuggets took the lead almost right away against a Kings team that was playing the second of three games in three days. Midway through the game, the Kings also lost guard Tyreke Evans after he became ill. "Thhat was a kick in our teeth. Cheap Jerseys. You cant hide from it," Kings coach Paul Westphal of his teams ragged performance. "I still think we have the makings of a good basketball team and I believe we will bounce back. "They got on us early. I thought we were pressing. Our shooting, its undescribable. The avalanche just fell on us." The Kings, who remained winless in three road games this season, got 26 points from DeMarcus Cousins and 23 from Marcus Thornton. Cousins was playing his second game since returning from a one-game ban for demanding a trade, according to the team. Cousins denies making any such demand. Up by 17 at the half, the Nuggets stretched the lead to 66-41 on a basket by Danilo Gallinari with 6:33 left in the third quarter. Sacramento scored 14 of the next 18 points, pulling to 70-55 on Thorntons three-pointer, but wound up lagging behind Denver 85-64 going into the fourth quarter. Denver made it a runaway with a 9-0 burst to start the fourth. The run was punctuated by dunks from Chris Andersen, and rookie Kenneth Faried off a no-look alley oop pass from Fernandez. The Nuggets led 27-17 after the first quarter and began the second with a 14-2 run, pulling out to a 41-19 lead on a fast-break dunk by Corey Brewer with 7:14 remaining in the period. The Kings cut the deficit to 13 on a layup by Thornton but Gallinari pulled off a reverse layup and then got a steal to start a fast break that Harrington finished with a layup for a 56-39 lead at halftime. NOTES: The Kings conclude their only back-to-back-to-back set of the season at home on Thursday, when they host Milwaukee. ... Nuggets forward Nene missed a second straight game with a bruised left heel. ... Kings havent won in Denver since April 5, 2008, a 118-115 decision. ... Thornton had his 44th career 20-plus point game. ... It was only the second time in franchise history that the Nuggets had 12 players score at least six points in a game. ' ' '

TORONTO -- James Hinchcliffe didnt know how terrible he has been in his hometown race. Arthur Lynch Jersey . He was aware his history in Toronto wasnt great -- last year in particular was embarrassing for him -- but he was surprised that four years into his IndyCar career the best he has finished at the Honda Indy Toronto is eighth. "Is that the best Ive done is eighth? I knew it was bad, I didnt realize it was that bad," said Hinchcliffe on Thursday. "Hows it feel? Yeah with those stats great. I mean who wouldnt be excited?" Hinchcliffe is quick to point out how excited he is to return to the track he credits with getting him involved in racing. But all the love the Oakville, Ont., native shows the 85-lap, 2.81-kilometre street course at Exhibition Place hasnt been reciprocated with checkered flags. The 27-year-old Andretti Autosport driver could use some love. His season entering the doubleheader this weekend has been plagued by disappointing results, mechanical issues, collisions and even a concussion after being hit by debris at the Grand Prix of Indianapolis. Hinchcliffe hasnt lacked for speed. Hes started second in 5-of-12 races so far, but hasnt finished on the podium. Hes been close -- he might have won a race in Houston if he hadnt pitted late and got stuck behind yellow flags -- but with six races left Hinchcliffe is starting to wonder what else might happen before the season ends in August. "Running for a podium in Indy GP and somebody smoked me in the head with a piece of a wing. I mean, like why does that happen? Who does that happen to? Its just been one of those years," said Hinchcliffe. "It is frustrating certainly because I dont think the results match the effort in the job that the whole team is doing. But at the end of the day were sleeping well at night because were I think executing very well and its just really been a function of wrong place, wrong time a lot of the time this year." Hinchcliffes bad luck appeared to be on the verge of ending when he returned from the concussion to qualify second for the Indianapolis 500. But even that hope ended when he collided with Ed Carpenter. Barring a miracle run -- hes 11th overall in the points race -- Hinchcliffe can be forgiven for being reduced to sarcasm when asked how he can salvage the season. "Well I figure, Ill win both of these ones. And then in Ohio. And then Milwaukee, Sonoma and Fontana and I call the year a success," he said. "Really no reason to aim for anything less than that at this point because were pretty far out of it. "Like I said, were just bummed that we havent had the results that we feel we deserve for the effort weve been putting forward. I really want to get a couple of strong results in there for the guys, and for myself or (sponsor) United Fiber And Data, for everybody because I genuinely think that these guys deserve it." By default Hinchcliffe is Canadas only hope to win the Honda Indy Toronto after Alex Tagliani of Lachenaie, Que., departed IndyCar in the off-season. Torontos Paul Tracy was the last Canadian to win the event in 2003. Hinchcliffe finished third at Exhibition Place in his first season in the Indy Lights developmental series. But the IndyCar event has only become progressively worse for him, culminating in the second race last year when a stuck throttle kept him from starting on the grid and ended in a last-place finish among cars still on the track. This year he has predictably low expectations. "I just assume its going to go poorly. Its not really a superstition as much as it is a statistical thing," he said before recalling a collision with Tracy in 2011 and an engine failure that knocked him out of contention in 2012. "Ive had it all here. Maybe now finally theres nothing left to happen. I mean (I) literally didnt even make the start of the race last year. It cant get any worse than that." Hinchcliffe knocked on the table in front of him just in case. "My engineer would kill me for saying that because now Ill get hit by a meteor or something." Walt Aikens Womens Jersey . Knapp defeated American Alison Riske 6-3, 7-5 to secure Italys victory in the best-of-five series. She held a 5-2 lead in the second set, only to let Riske tie it at five. Billy Turner Dolphins Jersey . Nine days after Madrid eked out a 1-0 victory at Espanyols Cornella-El Prat Stadium in the Spanish league, the visitors were again limited to the narrowest of winning margins -- despite dominating the first half, when Cristiano Ronaldo hit the post before Benzema headed home in the 25th minute.INDIANAPOLIS -- This time, Jordan Morgan got the ball to bounce the right way -- and Michigan celebrated. A little more than one year after missing a last-second tip-in that would have given the Wolverines a share of the Big Ten regular-season title, the 6-foot-8 forward scored on a layup with 7.9 seconds left to give No. 8 Michigan a 64-63 victory over Illinois in Fridays Big Ten tournament quarterfinals and a shot at another league championship. "Im telling you -- I probably exaggerate -- 10,000 times, at least 2,000 times in five years Jordan Morgan has run that same drill," coach John Beilein said. "Theres a bag to hit him, you still got to catch it in a crowd and keep it up and dunk it if he can. He said he wanted to add a little drama to the game, so he decided to put it up on the rim. Illinois had a chance to win it when Tracy Abrams drove in for a layup, expecting contact, but the ball hit the front of the rim and bounced off. No foul was called. Its about time something went right for the Wolverines (24-7) in this tournament. Since going 3-0 to win the first title in 1998, Michigan has not won more than one game in the annual tourney. The Wolverines later vacated that tourney title because of NCAA infractions, and Michigan has endured everything from an embarrassing 21-turnover game in a 2006 first-round loss to Evan Turners buzzer-beating 40-foot heave, which gave rival Ohio State a 69-68 quarterfinal win in 2010. Things are supposed to be different this year. After ending a 28-year drought between outright regular-season titles with a win at Illinois last week, Michigan came into this weekend with the No. 1 tourney seed for the first time in school history and with a full head of steam -- six straight wins. But it almost happened again. Michigan blew a 13-point second-half lead, scored just six points in the final 7 1/2 minutes and then wound up getting bailed out by Morgan when Big Ten player of the year changed the play coach John Beilein called in the huddle. "I was looking to be aggressive and raised up to shoot and man, the guy guarding me was still chasing me and the big was chasing me too and J-Mo rolled down the lane and he was wide open," Stauskas said. "I hit him with the ball and he laid it in." The Wolverines usual trio led tthe way.www.authenticdolphinsshop.com/Billy-Turner-Dolphins-Jersey. Stauskas had 19 points despite going 4 of 12 from the field and 2 of 10 on 3-pointers against Illinois zone defence, Glenn Robinson III had 15 points and seven rebounds and Caris LeVert finished with 13 points, five rebounds and four assists. Yet it was Morgan, who wound up the star. He made the only two shots he took -- none bigger than the layup he never expected that sent Michigan into Saturdays semifinals against either fourth-seeded Nebraska or fifth-seeded Ohio State, who played in the second quarterfinal of the day. Michigan swept Nebraska this season and won at Ohio State in this seasons only meeting with the Buckeyes. Morgan, who missed the shot that gave Indiana last years outright regular season title, made this one. "As far as catching it, I just put it on the rim and got a nice roll," he said matter-of-factly. Ninth-seeded Illinois (19-14) was on the cusp of pulling off a major upset after finally retaking a 59-58 lead on Rices driving layup with 4:53 left. The Illini allowed just one 3-pointer, one free throw but couldnt stop Morgans layup the rest of the way. Abrams and Rayvonte Rice each finished with 11 points. Kendrick Nunn had 10 points as the Illini lost for only the second time in seven games. "Its obviously an uncontested shot that I probably could make," Abrams said. "We obviously wanted to get that one in and we wanted to win, but there was a lot of other plays that we can account back to that we could have did different or could have got an extra rebound." Illinois zone defence changed game. Following a media timeout with 11:26 left, Stauskas made two free throws to give the Wolverines a 55-44 lead. The Illini answered with 10 straight points and finally took the lead on Rices driving layup with 4:53 left. Michigan tied the score at 61 with 3:10 to go, but all the Wolverines could muster the rest of the way was one free throw from Stauskas until the surprised Morgan got the right roll. "Well, were thrilled to get that win because as you can see, as Illinois has shown in their last six games, how well the program has played after a tough January," Beilein said. "They proved how good they were, and, fortunately, we got some good bounces around the basket to finish the game." ' ' '
