Kerryon Johnson continues to improve from the multiple injuries he sustained during the fourth quarter of last month's Iron Bowl.

Johnson, who injured his ribs and right shoulder late in Auburn's 26-14 win against Alabama and was limited in the SEC Championship Game against Georgia, returned to practice this week and has "looked good," according to head coach Gus Malzahn.

"He's practiced every day that we've been out there," Malzahn said Wednesday. "You can see him moving around better and better every practice."

The injuries hindered Johnson during the Tigers' SEC title game loss to the Bulldogs, as he was held to 44 yards on 13 carries, both of which were <a href="http://www.hssmstore.com/christian-mccaffrey-jersey-c-1_29.html">Christian McCaffrey Jersey Womens</a> season-lows, in the 28-7 loss <a href="http://www.officialrangersshop.com/martin-st-louis-jersey-c-1_21.html">http://www.officialrangersshop.com/martin-st-louis-jersey-c-1_21.html</a> in Atlanta.

Johnson tweeted on Friday that "of course" he would play in the Peach Bowl on Jan. 1 against No. 12 UCF, while offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey said Sunday that he <a href="http://www.canucksnhlproshop.com/daniel-sedin-jersey-c-1_5.html">Daniel Sedin Authentic Jersey</a> believed Auburn's star running back would be in "great shape" for the New Year's Six bowl <a href="http://www.officialgiantsstores.com/56-lawrence-taylor-jersey-c-2_43.html">http://www.officialgiantsstores.com/56-lawrence-taylor-jersey-c-2_43.html</a> game.

Johnson has been the standout of Auburn's resurgent offense this season, leading the SEC with 1,320 rushing yards and 120 yards per game despite missing two-plus games early in the season due to a hamstring injury. The 6-foot, 212-pound junior rushed for 17 touchdowns, added another two receiving and also threw for a touchdown while helping guide Auburn to the SEC West division title and a second consecutive New Year's Six bowl.

While Johnson, who <a href="http://www.authenticseahawksstore.com/steve-largent-jersey-c-1_12.html">Steve Largent Jersey</a> finished ninth in Heisman Trophy voting, <a href="http://www.medync.com/25-james-van-riemsdyk-jersey-c-1_8.html">http://www.medync.com/25-james-van-riemsdyk-jersey-c-1_8.html</a> continues to improve in his recovery from the injuries, Malzahn said "there's a chance" the running back will be close to 100 percent when the Tigers square off against the nation's lone remaining unbeaten team in <a href="http://www.divasta.com/steve-largent-jersey-c-1_18.html">Steve Largent Jersey</a> Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

"I hope so," Malzahn said. "I think there's a chance of that. We'll see once we get to the bowl site, but I think there's a chance of that."
