Subject :What is Gus Malzahn's message to Auburn's commits who didn't sign early?

Auburn had 15 players sign to its 2018 recruiting class on Wednesday, but there are five commits who have yet to do so in what is currently the No. 10 overall class in the 247Sports Composite.

Four-star defensive end Richard Jibunor is considered the most likely to possibly sign Thursday or Friday of Auburn's outstanding commitments, which also include four-star receiver Matthew Hill, four-star defensive lineman Coynis Miller, three-star defensive back Kolbi Fuqua and three-star punter Arryn Siposs.

Gus Malzahn addressed what his message is to those commits who didn't sign on Wednesday.

"I mean, we recruited guys for a long period of time," Malzahn Authentic Melvin Ingram Jersey said. "We developed great relationships with guys. If you really look at really our Ezekiel Elliott Authentic Jersey history over the last four or five years, once guys are committed to us, they usually stay committed to us. I think that's a testament to our coaches and really the way we recruit."

The majority of 2018 recruits signed on Wednesday, which was not unexpected when the rule was changed, and Auburn assistant coaches were hoping to have as many players as possible signed early.

"I think that takes the stress off you as a coach, to get these guys in the boat, get them to sign on the Patrick Sharp Jersey Womens dotted line and you could start really recruiting that next 2019 class," receivers coach Kodi Burns said before the season. "So, no doubt, I definitely want everybody in the boat if we can this December."

Tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator Larry Porter acknowledged players have every right to wait Authentic Ha Ha Clinton-Dix Jersey until February's traditional signing day to make their final decision and said the relationship with the recruit is critical so that both sides understand the reasoning for not signing early.

"What that does is make you sit back and process where is this guy and where is he really in terms of being committed and wanting to be an Auburn Tiger," Porter said before the season. "They have that right, we understand that. I think as we go forward and guys commit, it's our job to kind of prep them and make sure they understand the importance of trying to get this behind us so we can focus on really growing into an Auburn Tiger with things like admissions and making sure they have everything they need from an academic standpoint and getting situated for what they need to be focused on to prepare themselves for once they get here."
